Autorack panel locking tabs
Attaching the autorack panels and keeping them attached was something that concerned us. Sure you can just CA
them on. But we know accidents happen. When looking at a prototype autorack we see their mounting plates
at panel corners. Yep,a light went off. We came up with some 'itty-bitty' mounting tabs that will not only hold
the panels in place but also give you the mounting plates too. To use these tabs, you will mount the panels on
the car, drill holes at identified locations, bend a tab and place on car. A mount pin going into the side of the
car will help hold the tab in place. The tab will hold the panel in place and simulate the prototype mounting plate.
