Southern Pacific had their own configuration of panels. Two of the large top (A) panels were usually solid and contained their name on the panels. Viewing photos finds that while these solid panels are always side by side, they are not always in the same location. As with any modeling project, prototype photos suggested. Here are a couple images of this configuration applied to one of the Walthers Bi-level cars.
