Seasons Greetings everyone. Hope all are well!
I am not quite ready to close out the year. I have several new products I need to announce as being available. Making a web site update took
longer than expected so these new products have been sitting waiting for you. More on the new products can be found on
the Whats New page. Now that the web update is in place, I can get back to getting serious on some of the other
projects I have in work and planned. So keep checking back.

I have a couple updates that need to be made such as new products and
unfortunately price increases.
The new products are:
For those of you that still have some of our Proto2000 4427 covered hopper
walkway kits to add to your models but are putting it off because you don’t
like those paper drill templates, you are going to need a new excuse. We
now have a stainless steel drill template that will greatly aid the drilling
process. These templates fit right on the car, ‘lock’ in place and have holes
that prevent drill bit from walking. If you have more than one or two of these
cars to detail, this template is a must.
A couple new details for the vehicle modelers. One of them is Slamlocks like
those used on utility trucks and fire equipment/trucks. Each package
contains 24 locking and 24 non-locking rectangular slamlocks.

And after around 18 years of trying to be a nice guy, I feel it is time to raise
the amount I charge for shipping and handling.
Shipping and handling is now $3.50 per shipment.

I have been trying to spend a little time modeling lately. Yes, I am finally getting around to building my 'fleet'
of Proto2000 4427 covered hoppers. I won't go into any details of the work here, but I have started a page that
highlites a few things. As time allows, I will be adding to and revising this page.

I have a few updates that need to be made such as new products, discontinued products and unfortunately price increases.
The new products are:
For the Atlas Trainman ACF 3560 covered hopper, I finally have an Apex pattern walkway available. The kit includes a
one piece walkway, brass walkway supports (two widths), coupler platforms, drill template and instructions.

For those modelers using the Cannon & Co. thin wall fans, I have added revised fan hatches to the line.
The holes in the stainless hatches, that have been on market, have holes that are slightly larger than the CC fans.
The new fan hatches are made of brass and have holes that fit the fans better, allowing for a more accurate positioning.
At this time the hatches available are:

Discontinued products:
I have discontinued the walkway kits for the Detail Associates/Remax ACF 2970 2 bay covered hoppers.
The #076 Morton pattern and #077 Apex pattern are sold out. Consider these retired.
The #078 Gypsum patterns have a few left at this time.
Price increases:
Just like everything else these days, prices have been going up on my materials.
I tried to hold prices but as I evaluate costs, some products will have price increases as inventory is replenished.
The first products to have increases are:
#148 Gunderson Maxi Stack container car walkway kit w/ lift rings $2.00
#243 N scale 40ft Airslide roofwalk for Atlas car $3.00
Other increases will be announced as inventory is restocked. Some products have ample supply and probably
won’t be going up any time soon. Some of the more popular products (covered hopper walkways, builders materials ,
blinds) will more than likely go up soon.
