    Three roofwalk tread patterns are available for the 40 ft. and 50 ft. boxcars.

    Standard round pattern(Morton)
    Slotted pattern (Apex)
    Diamond shaped opening pattern(Gypsum)

    A generic 60ft boxcar roofwalk (62' 6" actual) is also available in Apex pattern.

    The same three patterns of roofwalks listed previously are also used for the InterMountain PFE R-40-23 Reefer. An additional pattern, Transco pattern represents a horizontal expanded metal, whereas the Gypsum is a vertically expanded metal.

    Is it a boxcar or Autorack????? What ever you call it, we have some details for it. Walthers produces a 75ft Autocar that is / was used by Amtrak and Autotrain. Two kits are available for this model. One of them is a walkway and full length ladder kit. The other is a short ladder kit.
