A Tri-king Camper

Wiking makes a camper that is mounted on the back of VW cab. Not seeing many of these in the U.S., a need to kitbash came up. Using one of Tridents Chevy vans, I chopped the body and frame just behind the doors. Some filing and triming is needed on the camper over the cab roof. After this project was started, Trident came out with a box-van version model. I would use that model now to save a little work in chopping.

If you are going to attempt this small project, you need to add our mirrors and venetian blinds.

Here are the two starting models. The leftover boxvan can be set on the ground in some scene and used as a utility shed.
