Here is a set of photos showing a Morton pattern walkway applied to one of Detail Associates ACF 2 bay covered hoppers. Notice in photos 2 and 3 the 'bolt heads' over the risers, simulating a bolted down walkway.

There are even coupler platforms in the kit. The B end platform has a hole for the brake chain. Would look better if there was a chain!
