As the two halves come together you will notice how the shutters slide between each other. The positioning tabs should also line up.

Firmly press the halves together at the hinge points. Once together, all of the inter lock tabs should be all lined up and everything should like one solid piece.

The shutters mount to the inside surface of the shell. The larger surface, the hinge edge, is the bottom of the shutters. Once installed, the shutters can be positioned from the outside. Open, closed, about any position is possible.
