HO Boxcar and Reefer Running Boards

Three roofwalk tread patterns are available for the 40 ft. and 50 ft. boxcars.
  • Standard round pattern(Morton)
  • Slotted pattern (Apex)
  • Diamond shaped opening pattern(Gypsum)

    The same three patterns of roofwalks listed previously are also used for the InterMountain PFE R-40-23 Reefer. An additional pattern, Transco pattern represents a horizontal expanded metal, whereas the Gypsum is a vertically expanded metal.
